This series of Photos comes from my February trip to Sydney, Australia (just in case you didnt know which country it is in).
These photos were deemed useless by me back then, but now i have found new life for them. I was discussing the faking technique for these Miniatures, which mimic Olivo Barbieri's actual tilt-shift Miniatures (taken with an actual lens movements) with another photographer who had been experimenting with the photoshop technique. I stated that a high viewpoint is necessary to get the perspective. I remembered these photos from February for their high viewpoint (two from a 737, one from Centrepoint Tower) Technique: I got my instructions from [link] Not all photos are suitable, so you will have to scour your collection for suitable photos The Photographic Ethics section: I have chosen to put this in Photo-manipulation, as the main feature of the photo is not the photography, but rather the manipulation. If it was put into the Photography section, there would be a bunch of purist snobs ready to pounce. I have simply had a little bit of fun with some old photos...so sue me. |
